Out of District Enrollment
Thank you for your interest in LaRue County Schools. Students in grades Preschool-12 living outside the boundaries of the LaRue County Schools district may apply for their child(ren) to attend LCS.
Before you apply here’s a few things you should know:
Acceptance is based on capacity of a program, class, grade level, and school building. All P-12 new students residing out of the LCS boundaries are required to complete our Out-Of-District Application even if a family already has one child attending LCS.
Bus transportation is not provided to out-of-district students.
Out-of-District Enrollment for the upcoming 2024-25 school year
Families who live outside the boundaries of LaRue County Schools who wish to apply for enrollment in LaRue County Schools for the 2024-25 school year must complete our 24-25 Out-of-District Enrollment Application Please return the form to your child’s intended school.
Families who apply will receive notification on the status of their application. At that time, if your application has been approved you will be able to complete LCS’s online enrollment using the New Family Link on the Enroll page (link at the top of this page).
